Analisis Pertanyaan Uji Kompetensi pada Buku Biologi SMA/MA Kelas XII di Salah Satu Penerbit di Indonesia

Abstrak

Students have not mastered the matter of cell division and heredity patterns in the midterm and final semester assessments. The quality of the practice questions in the textbook used by students is unknown. This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of competency test questions on the biology book of the SMA / MA Erlangga publisher. This type of research is qualitative. The object of this study was the question of competency testing of cell division material and heredity patterns of 95 questions. the results showed that the question of cell division material was dominated by the conceptual C1 level with a percentage of 30%, according to the basic competency content 3.6 of 88% and 16% did not match the KD content, the evaluation component related to knowledge was included in the good category, while the questions on the material patterns heredity is dominated by procedural C3 level with a percentage of 60%. All questions of material heredity patterns following KD 3.5, 3.6, 4.5, and 4.6 with the highest percentage in KD 3.6 were 71%, and the evaluation component related to knowledge was included in the excellent category. The competency test questions in Erlangga's high school / MA biology textbook, in general, are still at the lower order level of skills, the proportion of each basic competency content is not evenly distributed and the evaluation component of the evaluation related to knowledge is "good".
